Q: Do I need to know how to swim?

A: If you plan on participating in activities like snorkeling or shark free diving, knowing how to swim is essential. For other tours like whale watching and sunset cruises, swimming is not required.

Q: How many people can fit on the boat?

A: Our boats can accommodate a maximum of six passengers. We offer exclusively private charters for small groups, ensuring a more intimate and personalized experience.

Q: What should I bring on the tour?

A: Please bring a towel, sunblock, camera, and a smile. We provide masks and snorkels for our snorkeling adventures.

Q: Will I get seasick?

A: If you’re prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking Dramamine the night before and the morning of your tour. This helps 90% of people who are susceptible to motion sickness avoid it during their ocean adventure.

Q: Can we bring alcohol and food on the boat

A: Yes, you can bring food and alcohol on the boat, but please consume them in moderation.

Q: What kind of fish might we catch?

A: During our fishing charters, we target big game pelagic species such as Ahi (tuna), Mahi Mahi, Ono (Wahoo), and Marlin.

Q: Are we guaranteed to catch a fish?

A: While catching fish is never guaranteed, our experienced Captain Ryan has the local knowledge to give you the best chance of landing your dream catch. We produce fish on almost every trip.

SHARK TOURS

Q: Is swimming with the sharks dangerous?

A: While there is always some risk when interacting with wild animals, swimming with sharks is generally safe. Captain Ryan has over 10 years of experience and has guided many guests through this once-in-a-lifetime experience without any issues.

Q: Is there an age limit for swimming with sharks?

A: Yes, children under 10 are not permitted to swim with sharks. However, they can still join the tour as boat riders and easily observe sharks from the boat. A discounted rider fee applies.

Q: What kind of whales can we expect to see?

A: During our whale watching tours, we focus on observing the majestic Humpback whales that visit Hawaii’s waters between December and April.
